About the Hoʻolauleʻa

The Alondra Park Hoʻolauleʻa is one of Southern California’s longest-running Hawaiian cultural festivals. Organized by HICCSC, the event brings together member organizations, hālau hula, community groups, vendors, and families to celebrate Hawaiian culture through music, dance, food, and cultural education.


The festival serves as both a cultural gathering and an important fundraising opportunity for participating organizations.

The Hoʻolauleʻa offers a full day of cultural performances, island food, artisan vendors, and community celebration. Throughout the park, visitors can experience the music, dance, and traditions that continue to connect Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities across Southern California.

The Ho’olaule’a is Southern California’s largest annual Hawaiian cultural festival, celebrating Polynesian music, dance, food, crafts, and community since 1981.

 Service animals are allowed.

There will be a variety of Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander vendors participating at the Alondra Park Ho‘olaule‘a. 


Continuous Polynesian entertainment including hula and Tahitian performances, live music, and cultural presentations between our main stage and our kanikapila stage.


Yes! Enjoy island-style foods, crafts, cultural booths, and local vendors throughout the festival.


Street parking is available surrounding the park but fills up quickly.


Parking is available at El Camino College for a fee. We recommend arriving early, as parking availability is limited and fills up quickly. Please follow signage and parking attendants for directions.


Yes, we encourage guests to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets for comfort.


We allow umbrellas around the perimeter of main stage area, no umbrellas in the main stage field. 


The Ho’olaule’a is hosted by the Hawaiian Inter-Club Council of Southern California (HICCSC)—a nonprofit organization preserving Hawaiian culture and community.
